This paper is an analysis of the work you have done to this paper thus far, a critique of your progress with it, and an examination of the things you would like to change about the paper in future. It should include an analysis of the peer and instructor feedback you recieved throughout the process and how you incorporated that feedback into each successive draft, an interrogation and explanation for the changes you made to the work throughout the process, and your understanding of how this work met with the goals of the assignment.
Look back over your first drafts, peer reviews you received, revisions, process drafts, instructor comments, research logs, proposals or progress reports, and your final draft. Examine closely the changes you made to the work and write about why you made those changes. Give examples from your own work to illustrate the changes you have made.
Think about the people you worked with (in and out of class) when you wrote this paper. How did working collaboratively help or hinder your writing?
Look over the online class schedule and think about how far you have come with this unit and how much work you have done.
Look at your favorite parts of your final-for-now draft. Why are they your favorite parts? What do they illustrate about you and about your writing (skill, style, voice)?
Think and write about the things in your writing process that were confusing, frustrating, maddening, and/or annoying. Anything you would change about your process writing this paper? Why? Anything about your own writing process that proved especially appropriate for the work you were undertaking?
This analysis should be included with every unit folder you submit. It must be 2–3 double-spaced pages. It must contain specific references to work done in class, work done with peers, incorporating reader comments, and your own writing process. It must also contain specific examples from your final-for-now draft that illustrate and support the points you make throughout your analysis.
