The days of responding to countless student papers are still with us, but thanks to some new software, our responses can move beyond scribbled margin notes. This tutorial will provide you with three different ways to offer your students recorded audio comments on their papers, using either Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, or Audacity. Most instructors will have access to at least one of these programs, and with a little practice and a microphone, you can provide students with oral feedback that they can listen to again and again.
I've also included two quick tutorials on inserting written comments into Word documents and Googledocs, which you may find useful.
